Some healthy breakfast ideas are avocado toast with eggs, Greek yogurt with bananas, or a healthy pancake and a few egg whites, Swan said.

4. Squeeze in some exercise
Morning exercising can improve your mood and jump-start your metabolism, Blake told. Swan agreed , noting that even if “youre feeling” groggy when you first wake up, when you are exert, youll have more energy as the day progresses.

Hydration is so important, Blake explained. I always recommend drinking about 16 ounces of water in the morning, at the least. She noted that some studies depict dehydrated bodies can burn up to 2 percent fewer calories at rest, and that staying hydrated can help keep you from overeating.
