A Santa Told This Little Boy Pretty Much The Worst Thing He Could Perhaps Say
Like most 9-year-olds, Anthony Mayse was looking forward to going and considering Santa.
The day was filled with a trip to Main Street in Forrest City, N.C. where they took a carriage ride and went ice skatingbefore a visit with the big guy.
However, what happened instead was something straight out of Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thornton.
Innocent Anthony sat on the jolly old man’s lap and asked for an iPod touch and a droning, but what did he get instead?
Weight loss advice, just what every child dreams of.
“When he got done, he said, ‘Lay off the hamburgers and french fries, ‘” Anthony told. “And that really only disrespected me, and I felt awful.”
” It affected me so bad that I was weeping until I went to bed that night ,” he continued.” And I want to say to him,’ You don’t want to disrespect a 9-year-old. Even though what shape and size you are, it doesn’t matter.'”
Anthony’s mom, Ashley Mayse, ran back in and asked Santa “Why did you say that? “
His response was ” I don’t know ,” although given Santa’s jolly belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly, I’m thinking he might have some projection issues to deal with in therapy.
The town manager said Santa had apologized to both the superintendent and the Mayse family, but they’re not buying that either.
“When he went to apologize to me, he didn’t even entail it, ” Anthony told, and they’re hoping Santa gets a pink slip in his stocking this year.
” He acted like he didn’t want to be there to do the job ,” Ashley said.” I’m hoping he’s fired, because I don’t want any kid impression like he did Saturday. I entail, it destroyed him .”
As if a journey to the mall wasn’t depressing enough.
Here’s hoping Anthony get everything he wants for Christmas including the satisfaction of karma coming back to bite Kris Kringle.
