Ciara Calls 60 -Pound Weight Loss After Giving Birth 'Empowering'

Baby weight is always hard to lose, but for some superstars it’s a priority.

Speaking with People , the singer admitted 😛 TAGEND

“After delivering my son, a 9-lb. 10 -oz. baby, and gaining 60 lbs ., I was committed to[ returning] to how I felt before I had him. Four months after having him, I was back to my original shape. There’s something very empowering about that. Something about that gave me an extra pep in my step, and motivated me even more to go harder.”

A four-month snapback is AH-Mazing! And likely a little unrealistic for the average woman who’s not a celebrity.

CiCi, however, also talks about how maintaining her figure is part of her job, which explains how and why she ricochetted back so quickly after baby.

She said:

“I guess when it is necessary to your body, it’s all about the goals you define for yourself. I can honestly say when I first started my career, I weighed virtually 20 lbs. more than I weigh now. Being healthy was a commitment for me. As a performer, I have to stay in shape, so it’s become a way of life for me.”

We’d love to know exactly how she lost all that extra weight. We’re imagining a lot of genuinely grueling workouts and a lot of kale!

The 30 -year-old unfortunately did not give away her secrets! LOLz!
