Good News! Science Says You Can Feed ALL The Pizza!
Well, there are a few details that we’ll get to, but the takeaway is that pizza is love and now science wants you to induce pizzalove, not Cupcake Wars .
According to a study at UC San Francisco and Touro University California, foods that are high in calories, but low in sugar like pizza are healthier than high calorie foods that are high in sugar.

Here’s the deal.
The study examined the diets of 43 overweight children for nine days, during which time researchers slowly swapped the children’s sugar snacks for snacks that had lower sugar content but were still high-calorie.
So instead of something like dessert or pop, these lucky guinea pigs were given pizza or other savory foods that weren’t total sugar bombs.

What did they find?
Probably happy kids, but also that when the children ate high-calorie snacks with lower sugar, their overall health improved. In some instances, the low sugar diet resulted in weight loss.
Yay for pizza!
But in all seriousness, what did they take away from this?

First of all, a diet that is high in sugar is really bad for your health. This means candy, soda, donuts, and mochas with six inches of whipped cream and caramel.
Second, a high-calorie diet withoutsucrose is healthier.
Of course you also need to add in fruits, veggies, exercise, and moderation with everything.

But for this study, let’s just say you throw that salad on your pizza and rejoice in the fact that someone is giving you permission to eat pizza.
Not that you need permission just a taste for happiness but now science will back that fact up.
